Recently, some Wickersley students took part in the South Yorkshire Cross Country Championships.
On the challenging Longley Park course, Matilda moved from third place into first during the second lap, taking gold and becoming the South Yorkshire Intermediate Champion. In the boys鈥� Intermediate race, Louis showed great determination in a highly competitive field to finish in the top six.
In the Juniors event, Bradley secured an excellent third place with a strong performance. As a result, Louis, Bradley, and Matilda have all qualified for the national championships later this year in Liverpool. Congratulations and good luck to them all!
